Adult Sunday School

We offer 8 Adult Sunday school classes for all ages. We hope you are able to find a Sunday School Class that strengthens your faith, challenges you to become of Disciple of Jesus, and deepens your relationship with God.

Bayith/Fellowship
The Bible, The Whole Bible, and Nothing but the Bible, led by Buster Peek. This class studies the Bible to understand who God is, gain wisdom, learn to receive guidance, and to see and follow Jesus.

Cheers
The Cheers Class will continue their pre-Lent study, The Story, led by John Walker. The Story sweeps you into the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. Using the clear, accessible text of the NIV Bible, it allows the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel.

Chi Rho
The Chi Rho Class is studying Don’t Look Back by Bible teacher, international speaker, activist, and bestselling author Christine Caine. This study will motivate you to stop looking back, get unstuck, and keep moving forward into God's promises and purpose for your life. It is being taught by Giovanna Lecroy.

Harmony
The Harmony class is currently studying “Holy Roar”, led by Evelyn Coley. In the Psalms, there are seven Hebrew words that are translated into the English word praise, each of which represents a different aspect of what it means to truly praise God. In Holy Roar, Chris Tomlin and Darren Whitehead share a fresh perspective from the worship practices of the ancient world. Grow in your understanding of praise.

Journey
The Journey Class studies the Bible book by book, and then starts over again. They are currently working through the book of Jude, led by Stacie Elkins.

Seekers
The Seekers Class is using the NOOMA video curriculum, by Rob Bell. NOOMA is a series of short films that explore our world from a perspective of Jesus. NOOMA is an invitation to search, question, and join the discussion. Led by various class members.

S.T.E.R. (Scripture, Tradition, Experience, Reason – The Wesleyan Quadrilateral)
The STER class is currently doing “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur, led by various class members. This study explores how Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness.

Union
The Union young adult class is currently studying “How Happiness Happens” by Max Lucado, and led by Tim Hunnicutt. In this book Max shares the unexpected path to a lasting happiness, one that produces reliable joy in any season of life. Based on the teachings of Jesus and backed by modern research, How Happiness Happens presents a surprising but practical way of living that will change you from the inside out.
